Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional, and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has highlighted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts in combating terrorism, at the virtual meeting of the G5 Sahel Alliance that hosted by France. The paper explained that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is at the forefront of the world's countries that fight terrorism in all its forms and types. The paper added that Saudi Arabia has continued its war against terrorists locally and internationally, trapping extremist ideology with all means and tools, as well as promoting moderation. The paper concluded that Saudi Arabia has integrated strategy at local and external levels, during which it made remarkable achievements, culminating in the formation of Islamic military coalition from 41 countries to fight terrorism, and launching, in 2017, the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology "Etidal" in Riyadh. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues its humanitarian, relief and development efforts in Yemen, and supports the efforts of political solution in accordance with the agreed terms and principles, while the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia continues to target with ballistic missiles and drones. The paper said that the total number of intercepted missiles amounted to 312, according to the leadership of the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen. The paper pointed out that the brotherly Yemeni people are still suffering from the crimes of the Houthis, and their racism to divide the national fabric, in favor of the project of the Iranian regime and its expansionist ambitions.
