Under the chairmanship of Health Minister Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, the COVID-19 Follow-up Committee held its 93rd meeting today, in the presence of the members of the Committee representing a number of the relevant governmental entities. During the meeting, all relevant COVID-19 updates and reports were reviewed. Following the meeting, Assistant Minister of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali, who is also spokesperson of the Health Ministry, said that 2642 new COVID-19 cases were reported today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, adding that the new cases were reported in many cities and governorates in the Kingdom. He pointed out that the total cases tested positive for COVID-19 in the Kingdom reached 67719 cases, including 28352 active cases and 302 critical cases. He also pointed out that the cases confirmed today represent 62% for non-Saudis and 38% for Saudi nationals. The number of the new recoveries is 2963, bringing the total number of recoverees to 39003, Dr. Al-Abdulaali said, adding that the number of the new deaths is 13, bringing the total death toll to 364. With regard to the tests at the laboratories, Dr. Al-Abdulaali disclosed that 15899 new tests are conducted, bringing the total number of tests to 667,057 until now.
