Two Palestinian militants were killed late Friday night and five were injured as an Israeli army unmanned plane fired a missile at a group of militants gathered in Jabalya in the northern Gaza Strip, Palestinian sources said. Witnesses said the Israeli drone fired the missile at a group of militants were trying to launch a homemade rocket at southern Israel. Earlier Friday, Israeli troops shot dead an 11-year-old Palestinian girl, named as Samah Nassar, in the northern Gaza town of Beit Hanoun, said medical staff and witnesses, adding that the girl was shot with two bullets in the head and the chest. The medics said that two Palestinians who had been critically wounded during the last nine days of Israeli military offensive in northern Gaza Strip died at Gaza hospitals of their wounds. Palestinian medics said that the total number of Palestinians killed during the ongoing offensive in the Gaza Strip was almost 100, at least 33 of them children or youths under 16.
