An Israeli Apache helicopter gunship on Saturday fired two air-to-ground missiles at a car full of militants in northern Gaza killing one of them, eyewitnesses said. Medics said that one Palestinian militant, a member of the al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, had been critically wounded and died of his injuries shortly after, according to dpa. The medics at Kamal Odwan Hospital in northern Gaza identified the militant as 24-year-old Kamal Annan. There were no more casualties. Security sources said that three militants had been in the car on their way to launch homemade rockets at Israel from the northern Gaza Strip. -- SPA
