King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued yesterday for the eighteenth consecutive day distributing Ramadan food baskets in Punjab, Pakistan, in cooperation with the responsible authorities of the Pakistani government to deliver the aid to beneficiaries' homes or their nearest sites, taking into account all precautionary measures being taken by the government to prevent the outbreak of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). KSrelief distributed 900 food baskets weighing 30 tons to needy families, benefiting 5,400 people in Lahore area, taking the total number of the distributed food baskets since the first day to 21,008 baskets. This aid comes within the framework of humanitarian and relief assistance being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan during the holy month of Ramadan.
