King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued yesterday for the seventh consecutive day distributing Ramadan food baskets in Punjab, Pakistan, in cooperation with the responsible authorities of the Pakistani government to deliver the aid to beneficiaries' homes or their nearest sites, taking into account the all precautionary measures being taken by the government to prevent the outbreak of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). KSrelief distributed 505 food baskets weighing 18 tons to needy families, benefiting 3,300 people in Lahore area. The total distributed food baskets since the first day reached 20,108. This aid comes within the framework of humanitarian and relief assistance being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan during the holy month of Ramadan.
