Presided over by its Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, the Shura Council approved during its 40th today's session via virtual network a number of draft memorandums of understanding with Greek, Albabian, UAE, and Japanese agencies. The Council approved a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of satellites and their applications between the Saudi Space Commission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Digital Governance of the Republic of Greece, which was signed in Riyadh on 3/2/2020. The Council also passed a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation and exchange of news between the Saudi Press Agency and the Albanian News Agency, which was signed in Riyadh on 8/12/2019. The Council also approved a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation and exchange of news between the Saudi Press Agency and the Emirates News Agency. The Council also approved a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the cultural field between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the United Arab Emirates, which was signed in Abu Dhabi on 27/11/2019. The Council also approved a draft memorandum of cooperation in the field of intellectual property between the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Japanese Patent Office of Japan, which was signed in Tokyo on 21/10/2019. The Council also discussed a number of issues on its agenda.
