An earthquake measuring 3.56 magnitude on the Richter scale struck the Wadi Araba region at 3.55 am on Wednesday, the Jordan Seismological Observatory (JSO) at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources recorded, according to Jordan News Agency (Petra) . "The quake struck the area about 45km west of Tafilah governorate, at a depth of 1 kilometer," according to an observatory statement.
