In implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense for the government agencies to work in order to strengthen precautionary and preventive measures to combat COVID-19 epidemic, and in the framework of close cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) announced the soft launch of "Tawakkalna" App, to support government efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19. Tawakkalna App was developed to facilitate the issuance of movement permits electronically during the curfew period for government and private sector employees. In addition to enabling those with medical appointments and delivery applications representatives to obtain the necessary permits to facilitate their movement during the curfew period. Tawakkalna App, approved by the Ministry of Health, is one of the latest governmental efforts aimed at countering COVID-19 by providing real-time and direct information on the number of infections in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In addition to reviewing the latest health news and updates related to the spread of COVID-19 and ways to prevent it. The official launch date for Tawakkalna App will be announced later, in which registering will be available for individuals, citizens and expatriates. The App will contain many features that would contribute to facilitating their obtaining of permits during the curfew period, such as: humanitarian cases, medical emergencies, and permits for food supplies purposes. It is worth noting that the work on developing and updating the application is taking place continuously by adding more features and advantages in the upcoming versions and updates.
