Spokesman of the Ministry of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali said that 1325 new COVID-19 cases were reported today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a press conference today, Dr. Al-Abdulaali said that the new cases were reported in Makkah (356), Madinah (225), Jeddah (224), Riyadh (203), Dammam (74), Hofuf (42), Jazan (40), Buraidah (37), Khobar (36), Jubail (23), Taif (7), Khamis Mushait (6), Jafr (4), Qatif (4), Unaizah (4), Mandaq (4), Tabuk (4), Muzahmiya (4), Baish (3), Qurayyat (3), Kharj (3), Diriyah (3), Mithnab (2), Yanbu (2), Qunfidhah (2), Khulais (2), Hafar Al-Batin (2), Qarie (1), Thurayban (1), Makhwah (1), Sajir (1), Sharorah (1) and Dirah (1). Dr. Al-Abdulaali also said that the total cases tested positive for COVID-19 in the Kingdom reached 21,402 cases, of which 18,292 cases are active cases receiving medical care, and their health condition is mostly stable; with the exception of 125 cases receiving intensive care. The number of new recoveries is 169, bringing the total recoveries to 2953 cases. The number of new deaths is 5, bringing the total deaths to 157 cases. Dr. Al-Abdulaali also said that the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases worldwide is more than 3,100,000 cases, of which 935,000 cases have been cured to date. The COVID-19 death toll has jumped to 217,000.
