Masam, a project for clearing mines in Yemen affiliated to King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), demined 671 mines including 45 antipersonnel mines, 175 anti-tanks, 435 unexploded ordnance and 16 explosive devices in the 4th week of April. Since the beginning of the project, 161,909 landmines have been dismantled after being planted by terrorist Houthi militia in Yemen. The project is a continuation of efforts being exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to clear Yemeni lands of landmines and unexploded ordnance, and to train Yemeni national cadres in demining mines.
