Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Space Commission (SSC), has chaired the second meeting of the Commission's Board of Directors, through an electronic application developed by the commission. At the outset of the meeting, the Board of Directors praised the continuous efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz to confront the Coronavirus pandemic. During the meeting, the Board of Directors discussed a number of issues related to the Commission and the space sector, approved a number of decisions and reviewed a number of performance reports. The meeting approved to study an establishment of Saudi Space Company and consented a draft regulation of space which is prepared by the SSC in collaboration with a number of the governmental relevant sectors. The two decisions are submitted to the state for approval.
