Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Northern Border Region, chaired, via visual communication devices, the 4th meeting of the local committee in charge of combating the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the attendance of the Director General of Health Affairs of the region Abdullah bin Welman Al-Azmi and a number of senior health officials. After having been briefed on the latest developments pertaining to the control and or spread of the disease in the region, the meeting also reviewed the precautionary and preventive measures taken to combat the epidemic in addition to other items on its agenda. Following the meeting, the governor urged citizens and residents to remain committed to the government-imposed precautions and preventive measures and not to listen to rumors, and, instead, take the news from its official sources.
