After the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud gave his order for a curfew to limit the spread of the Novel Coronavirus, the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), and in cooperation with the relevant authorities, announces the continuation of work at all of the Kingdom's airports in receiving air cargo around the clock. The measures taken by GACA, obliges all relevant authorities and air cargo companies operating in the Kingdom's airports with health safety requirements and the precautionary and preventive measures in combating the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). All relevant authorities have taken all the necessary precautions to sterilize and disinfect the facilities of the air cargo stations throughout the Kingdom's airports. This in addition to setting up medical checkpoints at all stations for workers and visitors alike. Furthermore, to provide the working teams with all means of protection and prevention so that the flow of goods and services to all cities of the Kingdom can be completed safely and secured. GACA called on all air cargo companies operating throughout the Kingdom's airports to implement the precautionary and preventive measures implemented in the Saudi airports and to follow the health guidelines followed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.
