King Fahd donates 4.5 million Saudi riyals to Qur'an memorization charity

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, has donated 4,500,000 Saudi Riyals to the Riyadh-based
Qur'an Memorization Charity, it was announced here today.
The announcement was made by Sheikh Salih bin Abdulaziz Al Alsheikh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance.
In a press statement, he said the number of Qur'an memorization groups in the Kingdom are on the rise, lauding the role played by these
societies in keeping the youth away from deviated groups.
