OIC Condemns Assassination Attempt on Sudanese Prime Minister

The Secretariat General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the assassination attempt on Prime Minister of the Republic of Sudan Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, which took place today in Khartoum.
OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen affirmed his rejection of this terrorist act targeting security and stability during the transitional period in Sudan, stressing that the OIC stands by the government of Sudan and supports it in taking all necessary measures to ensure the security, stability and national unity of Sudan.
