Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has made qualitative progress in cybersecurity at the global level, as it recorded the 13th rank in the global cyber security index from International Telecommunication Union from among 175 countries, and ranked first at the level of Arab countries. The paper added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, hosted International Cybersecurity Forum (FIC) in its first edition in Riyadh, and adapted two strategic initiatives for protecting children in the cyber world and empowering women in cyber security.
