The Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed that the results of the preliminary laboratory tests conducted for the ten Saudi students coming from the Chinese city of Wuhan were negative, noting that the students will remain in the preventive isolation allocated for them for 14 days under full medical supervision to complete the additional tests and check on their health and safety. The ten students arrived yesterday in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on a private plane in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, to evacuate them from China, where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Kingdom's Embassy in China made great efforts to facilitate their travel procedures. MOH reaffirmed that no infection with the novel coronavirus has been recorded in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as MOH continues to implement precautionary measures to prevent the virus from entering the Kingdom by continuing to examine arrivals from China and conducting intensive awareness campaigns with scientific methods to combat and prevent the virus.
