Secretary General of the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization (ARCO) Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Tuwaijri has commended the medevac airlift (Flights of Mercy), which falls under humanitarian and relief efforts and stands with the people of Yemen in alleviating patients' and severe medical conditions' suffering, by evacuating them from Yemen to the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The Secretary General also praised the humanitarian roles being played by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in continuing relief aid according to a clear strategy to stand with affected peoples around the world, in particular the efforts of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), which include relief, shelter and medical assistance for the Yemeni people.
