The Secretary General of the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Tuwaijri has praised the support by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in serving humanitarian and relief works and alleviating the sufferings of refugees and affected peoples in many countries in the world in general and the Arab region In particular. This came after a recent report received by the Organization citing efforts of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) until the end of November, according to a humanitarian work system that targeted serving humanitarian and relief works in light of tragedies facing some countries due to conflicts, wars and natural disasters. The Secretary General commended KSrelief's projects included in the report, which amounted to 1092 projects, implemented in cooperation with 144 partners, and at a total cost of 4,254,318,198 dollars. The reports also confirmed that 87.82 % of these projects has been implemented to alleviate the sufferings of Yemen, Palestine, Syria and Somalia.
