The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has received "Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Necklace, First Class", presented by the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization (ARCO), in appreciation of his humanitarian diplomatic efforts at regional and international levels, to reduce human suffering and an acknowledgment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's pioneering roles and topping the list of donor countries with aid exceeding 40 billion dollars during the last fifteen years until 2019. This came during the King's reception today of the Secretary General of ARCO Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Tuwaijri accompanied by a number of the organization's members. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed his thanks to all, appreciating the Organization's roles in humanitarian works, wishing it success in all humanitarian efforts. During the reception, ARCO's Secretary General delivered a speech expressing sincere thanks and appreciation for the humanitarian, relief and development assistance provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to those affected by disasters and crises and for the King's diplomatic efforts at regional and international levels to reduce human sufferings. He added that the Kingdom tops the list of donor countries and allocates from its national income the highest percentage of aid compared to the rest of donor countries, as documented statistics show that the amount of Saudi aid exceeded 40 billion dollars during the last fifteen years until 2019, distributed among 124 countries in all continents. Then, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received "Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Necklace, First Class", which was presented by the Secretary General of ARCO Dr. Saleh Al-Tuwaijri. The audience was attended by Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of State, Cabinet's Member, National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, and Minister of Health, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Red Crescent Authority Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah.
