The Acting Secretary General of Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) Air Vice Marshal Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Mughaidi received today at IMCTC Headquarters in Riyadh, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen. The two sides reviewed means of cooperation, common visions and strengthening bilateral relations. They also signed a memorandum of joint cooperation that includes many initiatives and joint training programs, in addition to exchanging reports and studies of common interest in combating terrorism and violent extremism. IMCTC Acting Secretary General emphasized that the signing of the memorandum aims to enhance integration and strategic partnership between the IMCTC and OIC to achieve more cooperation, coordination and integration. He also pointed out that this agreement comes within the framework of cooperation between the Coalition and local, Islamic and international centers, bodies and organizations to coordinate, cooperate, and intensify efforts to combat terrorism and violent extremism.
