Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum, Al-Riyadh, Al Eqtisadiah, and Al-Bilad newspapers said in their editorials that the statement issued yesterday by the Public Prosecution with respect to its 10th session on investigating the case of the murdering of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi stated that five people have been sentenced to death, three people have been punished twenty-four years in prison, while ten people have been released due to insufficient evidence against them. The papers noted that the session was held in the presence of representatives of the five permanent members of the Security Council, representatives of the family of the victim and a representative of Turkey. The papers added that, in the session, it is clearly proved to the whole world about the transparency and integrity of the Saudi judiciary and keenness to implement justice and fact-finding with complete independence as known for Saudi Judiciary, as it has been proven in the investigations that there were no previous hostilities between the perpetrators and the victim.
