Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. All newspapers focused on the results of preliminary investigations in the case of Saudi citizen Jamal Khashoggi. Al-Riyadh newspaper in its editorial entitled ''Culture of conspiracies'' wrote that by announcing the results of the preliminary investigations in the case of Saudi citizen Jamal Khashoggi and the accompanying legal proceedings included the arrest of 18 accused in the case, the Kingdom has dealt a heavy blow to all conspirators who found in this case an opportunity to undermine the Kingdom and harm its people. It pointed out that the Kingdom has declared with transparency and clarity the course of preliminary investigations and steps that have been taken, and will proceed to complete investigations and bring those involved to justice. Okaz newspaper in its editorial said that the Kingdom has proved in the case of Jamal Khashoggi that it is the most careful and responsible for the safety of its citizens, and it does not give up their rights whatever the causes might be, noting that since the first moments of Khashoggi's disappearance, the Kingdom announced that it will reveal the truth and apply justice to all involved in this case. Al-Yaum newspaper noted that preliminary investigation into the circumstances of the incident clearly shows that the Kingdom is keen to achieve justice and equality and the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and HRH Crown Prince following the incident based on the principles and legislations of the Islamic Sharia emphasize to hold accountable anyone involved in this case.
