The Director General of the General Directorate of Passports Major General Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya said that the new electronic services that were launched on December 16th by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, come within the framework of providing all services electronically for citizens and residents on Absher platform. Major General Al-Yahya confirmed that these services are important for all segments of society. The new services include the following: 1- Services for foreign investors: allowing foreign investors to issue exit and re-entry visa and update passport information using Absher. 2- Visa services for Premium Residency owners: allowing Premium Residency owners to use Absher platform for all passport services. 3- Service for inquiring about the border number: allowing GCC member states citizens to inquire about the border number electronically. 4- Service for extending exit and re-entry visas for those outside the Kingdom. Major General Al-Yahya also reiterated the Minister of Interior's keenness on the electronic transformation of all services being provided by the General Directorate of Passports, adding that the Directorate is working hard on promoting the quality of the services being provided in partnership with National Information Center. He also said that the General Directorate of Passports will inaugurate other electronic services soon.
