The General Presidency for Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet s Mosque has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the General Commission for Audiovisual Media (GCAM). The memorandum was signed at GCAM headquarters in Riyadh, in the presence of the Minister of Media and the Chairman of the GCAM Board of Directors, Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shabanah and the General President of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque Sheikh Dr. Abdurrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais and a number of officials. The MoU aims at cooperation between the two sides in a number of areas such as the scientific and advocacy visibility of the Two Holy Mosques, spreading their noble message, disseminating speeches and scientific lessons held in the two holy mosques and translating them, and working to publish awareness films produced by the Presidency in cooperation with GCAM to educate pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors. It also included comprehensive media coverage of news and services being provided in the Two Holy Mosques with a focus on any activities in the Hajj and Umrah seasons.
