Sheikh Dr. Abdurrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, General President of the Affairs of the Holy Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, expressed strongly condemnation and denunciation regarding a ballistic missile launched by the Houthi militias supported by Iran towards Makkah region. In a press statement, Sheikh Al-Sudais stressed that this act is a flagrant aggression and a provocation to the feelings of one billion and half Muslims on the world. He stressed that the consequence of any aggressor on the Grand Mosque is the manifest loss and imminent destruction, asking Allah Almighty to maintain the Kingdom's security and stability.
