The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council for the Arab States (GCC), Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani said that the 40th session of the Supreme Council will be held in Riyadh tomorrow and chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, adding that the Gulf summit is a clear evidence of the leaders 'keenness to regularize Gulf Summits, in order to preserve the cooperation system, which days and events have confirmed that it is a coherent system capable of overcoming difficulties and challenges. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Secretary General has praised the blessed march of GCC, and determined and sincere efforts made by leaders of countries, to enhance the joint Gulf action and expand areas of cooperation and integration among GCC countries in various fields, in order to achieve aspirations of GCC citizens. He commended the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his sincere efforts to enhance Gulf cooperation, believing in ties that link the GCC countries citizens. Dr. Al-Zayani expressed his pride for being assigned by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to convey invitation to leaders of the GCC countries, to participate in the work of the 40th session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council. Dr. Al-Zayani also expressed his congratulations to the leadership, government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on assuming the presidency of the G20 group, stressing that this international event reflects the high economic position that the Kingdom holds among the countries of the world.
