The leaders of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States concluded here today the 33rd session of the Supreme Council of GCC leaders under the chairmanship of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the President of the current session. On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Summit. The GCC Secretary General, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al- Zayani, then, read the final statement of the Summit which expressed its deep appreciation and gratitude for the great, genuine and sincere efforts made by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and his wise government, during his tenure as President of the 32nd session of the Supreme Council, and its important achievements. The Supreme Council praised Allah Almighty for the successful surgery which has recently been undergone by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, wishing the King constant good health and happiness to complement his leading roles in the service of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its brotherly people and his support for the blessed march of the Council. The Council appreciated the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in which he stated his commitment to the blessed march of the Member States and the transition from cooperation stage to the Union in a strong coherent entity that meets the aspirations of the citizens of the Council's countries .
