President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Arif Alvi received here today the Speaker of Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, and accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to Pakistan. At the outset, the president hailed the well-established historical relations binding Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, lauding the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz leading role and its positive stances towards the causes of the Islamic world, in addition to efforts it keeps exerting to solve them. For his part, the speaker seconded the deepness of bilateral relations between the countries and conveyed greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Crown Prince to the president. During the meeting, they discussed a host of issues of mutual interest and means to consolidate bilateral relations.
