Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper in its editorial on energy said that the Kingdom and Russia have achieved extraordinary and unique success, not only for themselves; but in reaching understandings that serve the global economy and oil-producing and consuming countries. The paper added that these understandings between the Kingdom, one of the largest countries within OPEC and Russia, outside it, have established major economic understandings between the two countries, and the most recent one was the establishment of $ 1 billion energy investment fund, in addition to other understandings in the fields of oil, gas, electricity and renewable energy sources. Al-Yaum newspaper commented in its editorial entitled "The development of Awamiya and developmental projects'' that this vital project in the province of Qatif including architectural features, multi-cultural and touristic services for citizens and visitors, indicating that the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has been paying a special attention to developmental, industrial and tourism projects in the Eastern Region in line with the Kingdom's vision 2030 and national transformation program 2020. Okaz newspaper in its editorial entitled ''Custody and alimony'' praised the new amendment to the executive regulation of the Criminal Procedure Law issued by the Cabinet for resolving disputes and delays in custody cases, which comes within the interest of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in developing the judiciary in line with the progress being witnessed by the Kingdom at all levels.
