on-don, Sept 6, SPA -- A Russian military helicopter crashed on a flight out of Chechnya, killing two of the three crew members aboard, military and emergency response officials said Monday. The Mi-8 helicopter was found Monday after going missing during a flight from the Chechen capital, Grozny, to the city of Magas in the neighboring Russian region of Ingushetia. The third crew member was injured, said officials from the military command in southern Russia and the Ingush branch of the Emergency Situations Ministry, both of whom spoke on condition of anonymity. The helicopter disappeared from radar screens about a half hour after its 6:30 p.m. (1430GMT) departure Sunday. The Mi-8 helicopter crashed near the Ingush town of Karabulak, about 10 kilometers (6 miles) from the region's biggest city, Nazran.
