King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam has achieved an increase in the total number of containers exported and imported since the beginning of this year till the end of September 2019 by (1,387,833) containers, an increase of (20.50%), compared to the same period of the previous year. This increase came in light of efforts being exerted by the General Authority for Ports (MAWANI) to enhance the services of Saudi ports and increase their performance, productivity and operational capabilities, to achieve the Kingdom's development goals.
