Dammam-based King Abdulaziz Port has achieved an increase in its total goods handled from the beginning of 2018 until November of the same year amounting to (29) million tons, up 5.86% compared to the same period of 2017, according to Saudi Ports Authority "MAWANI". The port also achieved growth in the total tons of containers' goods exported and imported from the beginning of 2018 until November of the same year by handling of (15.29) million containers, an increase of 2.28% compared to the same period of 2017. It is worth mentioning that King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam is considered as the main port of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the Arab Gulf and the key gate for the entry of goods from all over the world to the eastern and central regions of the Kingdom.
