Japanese Prime Minister (PM) Shinzo Abe received, at the Guest Palace, here tonight, Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet, currently on a visit to Japan. At the outset, the Prince conveyed greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense to the PM. The Prince also congratulated the PM on the inauguration of the Japanese Emperor Naruhito. For his part, the Japanese PM expressed best of greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the HRH Crown Prince. During the reception, various aspects related to the friendly relations binding the two countries, were reviewed, in addition to issues of common interest. Accompanying delegation to the Prince and the Saudi Ambassador to Japan Naif bin Marzouq Al-Fahadi, attended the reception. Earlier in the day, the Prince arrived in, to take part in the ceremony of coronation of the Japanese Emperor Naruhito, on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, on the occasion of assuming the throne. At Haneda International Airport, in Tokyo, the Prince was received by Assistant to the Japanese Foreign Minister, the Saudi Ambassador and senior staff at the embassy.
