Emperor Naruhito of Japan received at Akasaka Palace in Tokyo today His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Emperor welcomed HRH Crown Prince on his current visit to Japan, expressing his happiness with HRH Crown Prince's participation in the Summit of G20 Leaders, concluded in Osaka. HRH Crown Prince thanked the Emperor for the warm welcome and generous hospitality. HRH Crown Prince conveyed the congratulations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the Emperor on ascending the throne, wishing him and the Japanese people further progress and prosperity. For his part, the Emperor of Japan sent his greetings and thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. During the meeting, they reviewed distinguished relations between the two countries and stressed the keenness of the governments of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Japan to develop and enhance these relations in all fields.
