The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz received at his office at Alsalam palace in Jeddah today the Minister of Education Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Alrasheed who was accompanied by his deputy for Girls Education Dr. Khider Alqurashi, and senior officials of the Ministry of Education to mark the advent of the new academic year 1425 - 1426 H. During the meeting, they listened to the instructions of the monarch who urged them to exert utmost efforts to reach the best educational levels and use the best educational systems and mechanisms in the Kingdom. He pointed to the government's decision to allocate additional funds for education in the new budget. He recommended education process planners to adhere to the Islamic faith. He urged them to help the new generations distant themselves from deviant groups and evil doers. We have to make use of the best international educational systems and experiments, he told senior ministry officials. On his part, Dr. Alrasheed thanked the king for his advice and promised that his men will do their best for the welfare of boys and girls of the kingdom. The meeting was attended by Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, and senior protocol officials.
