The General Authority of Meteorology and Environment Protection forecasts the weather for today as potential thunderstorm rain accompanied by active winds in the regions of Jazan, Asir, Baha, Makkah, Madinah and Tabuk, while thunderstorm rain in the regions of Al-Jouf, Hail, Northern borders, Qassim, Riyadh and Eastern Province. The Authority's report states that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea is westerly northerly to westerly southerly at speed of 15-40 km/h, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf is westerly northerly to easterly northerly at speed of 15-36 km/h.
