The General Authority of Meteorology and Environment Protection forecasts the weather for today to be thunderstorm rain with active winds in the regions of Jazan, Assir, Al-Baha, and Makkah, while partly cloudy with active winds in the regions of Riyadh, Madinah, Qassim, and Hail. The Authority's report states that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea is westerly northerly at speed of 18-42 km/h, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf is easterly southerly to westerly southerly at speed of 15-35 km/h.
