An official source at the Public Prosecution said that the monitoring unit in the Public Prosecution noticed that one person tweeted more than once through his personal account in Twitter indicating that there is suspicion of corruption related to control and fire systems in Haramain High Speed Railway station project in Jeddah, claiming that he has documents to prove it. The official source pointed out that by directing the case, bringing this person and listening to his statements, and reviewing what he has by the competent department to investigate these crimes to verify what he published in his tweets, it became clear that there are no documents he has to prove what he mentioned in his tweets. It was also found that he had not previously submitted any documents to the Public Prosecution concerning this matter. The Public Prosecution also concluded through the course of the investigation that the aforementioned, had already been investigated in previous criminal cases, in addition to being dismissed from his work due to labor procedures and that was before he reported cases of embezzlement which he claims, knowing that the company where he worked has nothing to do with the implementation of the Sulaymaniyah train station project in Jeddah. On the other hand, the Public Prosecution confirmed in this regard that the existence of any criminal suspicion in this regard will be verified in accordance with established regulations and instructions, following the principle of transparency and complete neutrality.
