The Darfur-based Saudi relief and health team is currently exerting strenuous efforts to provide humanitarian services to the needy in the civil-war stricken Sudanese western region of Darfur, thanks to directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard. In this connection, the Saudi Red Crescent Society delegation, led by Saad bin Mahanna Alsiwayed, met here today with the director of the branch of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society in Darfur Barakat Fares. They discussed the humanitarian services provided by the Saudi teams for needy people in northern Darfur.
