Chairman of Board of Directors of the Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) Ahmad Al-Khateeb, expressed thanks and apprectiation to Jacque Borlatz (a French national) for his cooperation with the Commission in reclaiming a national artifact, a stone slab bearing inscription of ancient Arabic writings from northwestern Arabian Peninsula. The archaeological piece has been recovered by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage in coordination with the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom to UNESCO. In turn, the Vice-President of the Commission for Antiquities and Museums, Rustam Al-Kubaisi the cooperation of "Jacques Borlatz" to return this artifact belonging to the civilizations of the northwest of the Kingdom; For his part, Jacque Borlatz stated that the inscription was in his possession 40 years ago when he was in the city of Tabuk, northern Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; pointing out that there were companies working on the site are cutting and removing the stones from their places, and feared the artifact of damage, and faith in its value took it intent to return for the Kingdom.
