Japan strongly condemned a sabotage attack on two Aramco plants in Abqaiq and Khurais. In a statement issued by Japanese Foreign Minister Motegi Toshimitsu: "Peace and stability in the Middle East are very important for the peace and stability of the entire international community," adding that stable oil supplies from the Middle East are indispensable for the stability and prosperity of the global economy, including Japan. He stressed that the Government of Japan remains committed to continuous communication with the region, in cooperation with the relevant countries, to maintain peace and promote stability in the Middle East.
