President Arif-ur-Rehman Alvi of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan received at the Presidential Palace here today Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Saeed AlMalki. The President lauded deep rooted relations that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan enjoy, reiterating the importance of working closely to reach broader horizons for the benefits and interests of the two countries. The Saudi-Pakistani relations spring from deep mutual religious and cultural values, President of Pakistan added. He renewed thanks and appreciation of the Government and people of Pakistan to the Kingdom's support for the economy of Pakistan and for the Kingdom's stand with Pakistan in all crises facing it. Ambassador AlMalki reiterated in his turn, that the leaders of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia attach great importance to Saudi relations with Pakistan and are determined to support Pakistan and stand with it to be a prosperous and stable country.
