The Head of the Office of Pakistani Pilgrims Affairs in Madinah Dr. Tariq Mahmoud Rahmani has praised distinguished services being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to serve pilgrims through the Makkah Road Initiative, and service projects carried out in Makkah, Madinah and the holy sites in order to facilitate performing Hajj rituals for pilgrims. Dr. Rahmani said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency that the Makkah Road Initiative is one of great services that the Kingdom has set up to facilitate the arrival of pilgrims and their transfer from the airport to their accommodations in a short time. He pointed out that 22,000 Pakistani pilgrims benefited from this initiative, which allowed pilgrims to finish their arrival procedures from Islamabad Airport, and move directly to their accommodations after arriving at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah. He also said that the initiative will include other airports in Pakistan next year, praising efforts being exerted by the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince to serve pilgrims, visitors, Umrah performers.
