The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) is participating in the Makkah Road initiative for the 1440 Hajj season, by facilitating all guests of AlRahman procedures and reducing their processing time. The countries that are included in the initiative are Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Tunisia. GACA's role in this initiative includes allocating halls for the reception of pilgrims arriving from their points of origin and receiving them in each of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, scheduling flights for the initiative and work on the distribution of flight times throughout the duration of the initiative. It is worth noting that the initiative aims to facilitate pilgrims flights and benefit more than (225,000) pilgrims during the 1440 Hajj season. It also reflects the great attention given to pilgrims by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince. Furthermore, it shows the keenness to improve the service quality through this initiative, which was launched by the leadership as part of the Kingdom's vision 2030 programs.
