Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum and Al-Riyadh newspapers commented in their editorials on e-commerce system, saying that the Cabinet's approval in its regular session held on Tuesday to start practicing the e-commerce system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seen as an important and vital turning point in the desired national transformation program. The papers noted that the e-commerce system is one of the important key goals of KSA's vision 2030 and reflects the KSA's high status at all levels. The papers added that the system would play an important role in strengthening the national economy as the KSA is witnessing economic development in light of its high status among countries keen to activate further development. They also added that the application of e-commerce system in the KSA would promote business transactions, stimulate their activities and develop their various tracks for protecting consumers and preserving their rights.
