Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Abdullah bin Salim Al-Mutani stressed the importance of the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Russian Federation reflected by the mutual visits between senior officials of the two friendly countries at various levels. In a press statement held after receiving Dr. Kurbanov Rizvan, member of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Control and Regulations at the State Duma of the Russian Federation Shura Council, Al-Mutani underscored the importance of this visit as a joint link between the Shura Council and the Russian State Duma. For his part, Dr. Rizvan said that the Russian delegation's visit to the Shura Council aimed to support and develop bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Russian Federation. The meeting discussed the ways of developing Saudi-Russian relations and extending the cooperation between the two sides in various fields.
