Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, Alexander Novak, who heads the Russian side in the Saudi-Russian Joint Committee, received here today Assistant Speaker of Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Yahya bin Abdullah Al-Sama'an and the accompanying delegation, currently visiting the Russian Federation. At the outset of the meeting, the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation stressed that the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Moscow last October has provided a new impetus to the bilateral relations between the two countries, which will contribute to enhancing the bilateral cooperation in various fields. For his part, Al-Sama'an said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia praises the efforts exerted by the Russian Federation to stabilize the world oil market. He also clarified that the Kingdom is looking forward to developing the cooperation relations with the Russian Federation in the fields of renewable energy. The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
