President Joko Widodo of the Republic of Indonesia received here today Speaker of Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, who is currently on a visit to Indonesia. Indonesian President stressed the importance of the visit of Shura Council Speaker to promote relations and consolidation between the two friendly countries, adding that the people of Saudi Arabia and Indonesia are expecting a lot of the Shura Council and Indonesian Parliament for closer bilateral relations in various fields. For his part, Dr. Al Al-Sheikh confirmed that his visit to the Republic of Indonesia comes under the attention of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to consolidate relations with the Islamic countries and the friendly countries of the world. During the meeting, they discussed a number of topics of common interests.
